For my entire pregnancy and the first few months of my sons life my husband and I were fortunate enough to live in the comfort and convenience of my parents home. Not the greatest situations for a new family but it certainly had its perks … one being, the food. I did my share of cooking, mostly after giving birth because I was on bed rest so much. But most of the meals were prepared for by my mom so I didn’t have to do much thinking and cooking for a little over a year.
Needless to say for the first few weeks my husband and I were finally living on our own were a little rough around in the edges in the kitchen. I was a little out of touch in the creative and flavor categories, although if you ask my husband I am sure he will tell you everything was just great … he’s so sweet. But as the weeks go by I am getting better and better and a little more confident in my cooking abilities again. I am just feeling so overwhelmed sometimes since I started work and find it hard some nights to really find the time and energy needed to make the gourmet meals I really want to.
Well thankfully I am not alone. Ragú® has been offering moms hundreds of nutritious, convenient, delicious and affordable meal ideas- perfect for busy families on the go. They understand our hectic lifestyles and our desires to feed our family quality meals at a great value.

I am heading there now to share my ideas and to gain a few from other mom’s like me who are looking to eat healthy and have great quick simple recipes to make for tired overwhelmed mamas like me.
