Thankful Thursday #5

Each Thursday I will continue to post a blog entry listing 5 things I am thankful for that week. Why be thankful on Thursdays? We tend to just give thanks on Thanksgiving; why not share your blessings on a weekly basis. It is my goal to continue this for a total of 52 weeks.

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

Daniel 2:23 “I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.”

Happy Thursday all … hope your week has been a good one so far … mine has.

  1. This week I am thankful for growth … we took our baby boy for another check up this week and he is growing right on track. He is actually in about the 90% for his height. So proud!
  2. I am super thankful for the time my friends and I had this weekend as I hosted a Fun, Fit and Guild Free house party demonstrating the Wii Your Shape Game.
  3. I am thankful for employment. It was a little goal of mine to possibly get a part-time job the start of the new year to help with some bills. Well this week, that became a reality. I actually start working today. Yeah!
  4. I am thankful for clean air. My mother has purchased a brand new vacuum along with 3 air purifiers for the house. We have one in our room and we can tell a huge difference in the air quality.
  5. Okay this one may sound just silly but I am so thankful that the television show Chuck is back on air finally. I rarely ever watch tv and that is one of the shows my husband and I sit down together and watch, along with Heros. So it is like a return of a special family time moment for us.

I like your Thankful Thursday idea! What a great reminder to be thankful for everything God blesses us with. So often we just take these things for granted, when it’s all His gift to us.
